Accessories with Enduring Charm by Maven Maise

Maven Maise started in 2018 with a favor for friends who owned a coffeeshop. They wanted to add merchandise but didn’t have a lot of money to invest and weren’t sure it would sell. So Marie used her fabric stash to create a variety of products for them to try. After that came an Etsy shop, then another Etsy shop, Amazon handmade, and this website.

Charm of Yesterday with Modern Practicality

Our designs are classic, reminicent of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, made more practical with options of pockets, zippers and sizes.

Quality You Can See and Feel – Designed to Last

Our larger bags are double stitched to carry heavy loads. Interfacing is used extensively to make the fabrics stronger. We use YKK brand zippers – high quality made in USA. Even the corners of our pockets are stitched in a triangle to prevent tearing.

No Waste

We’re committed to creating beautiful products with minimal waste. We get canvas from a local shop that produces commercial sound panels, end pieces and sides, so it’s new fabric that would have gone into a landfill. Our scraps are used to create smaller items like magnets and keychains. We ship in reused cardboard boxes as much as possible and we shred leftover paper scraps to use as packing material. In the office we even use the back of every sheet of paper. Most weeks we create less than one tall kitchen garbage bag of trash.

Maven Maise is a woman-owned small business in Clearwater, FL. Our home studio is smoke free with occaisional visits from a nosey cat named Eowyn.
